Practice the Einbürgerungs­test

The exam has 33 questions: 30 general plus 3 about your federal state. You have 60 minutes. The in-app and web exam simulation is built the same way.

You pass with at least 17 correct answers out of 33. After the simulation we show your result and which questions to review.

Both use the same public question catalogue. “Leben in Deutschland” is the test in the integration course; the Einbürgerungstest is the exam for naturalisation. For practice the logic is the same: 33 questions, your state, pass from 17.

No. In the native app the catalogue and translations work offline. The web app runs in the browser — you can keep practicing offline once the content has loaded.

German always comes first. Underneath you see your language: English, Turkish, Arabic, Russian, Ukrainian, Persian and Japanese. The layout stays left-to-right.

No. The app and website are independent and not affiliated with BAMF. Practice questions come from the public Gesamtkatalog.

Three of the 33 exam questions are about your Bundesland. You pick it once at the start and can change it in Settings. That way you practice the 10 state-specific questions for your state.
