Einbürgerungstest Munich: Booking Your Exam Date

In Munich, there are two ways to take the Einbürgerungstest: the BRK-Kreisverband München (Bavarian Red Cross district association, official BAMF exam centre) and the MVHS (Münchner Volkshochschule, Munich adult education centre). Both require in-person registration — online is not possible.

Option 1: BRK-Kreisverband München

• Fee: 25 €

Option 2: MVHS (Münchner Volkshochschule)

• Registration: in person or by phone
• Special note: places are limited; the “Leben in Deutschland” test also runs through the MVHS

Tips for Munich

• Mind the office hours — at the BRK there is no online registration and the hours are tight.
• Plan a second option — if you don’t get a place at the BRK, ask the MVHS.
